Today I turned 30! Eep how did that creep up on me?
Last night I received a great lanyard for my work badge from craft_t_chic from a swap, plus package #3 from my Secret FOC (the purple earrings I will be wearing a lot). Then today I received a surprise postcard from kiki_eks!
OMG…my work peeps are the best. My birthday is tomorrow but I am taking the day off. I got in today and there were HUGE balloons and flowers and confetti everywhere. There was even a cake!! I had to make myself not cry. I’ve never had anyone make a ta-do about my b-day before as a ‘grownup’. I’m just gushing!!
So I discovered last night that a deep purple in the sewing room looks nice and may help me not hate the walls so much. I still love purple, but I was starting to feel overloaded on it. I think some deep rich purple will also help with the olive green I have in there. A little splash of the orange and fushia from the Klinga boxes (from IKEA) will add a little punch with the white to keep it crisp…or at least I hope. Now to put it all together…and figure out what to do with those shelves…meh
