Hello there. I recently volunteered to be part angel to someone in a Craftster swap. I sent her two things, one of which was a Tree of Life Pendant. Gingerquilts had wisted a dark blue with crystal one I had made and as luck would have it I just found some of the crystals left over from C’s wedding. Huzzah!

Last Friday I went by Goodwill on my way home and scored some crafty goodness plus a spiffy round suitcase. Total spent: abut $13.
Here is KoKo checking out the suitcase. It is a spiffy olive green.

Here is the rest of the loot.

Soo…we are reorging the reorg of the reorg at work. Yes, I assure you it is as confusing as it sounds. In the long run I think we can make a sucess of it, we have some great people. It will be an adjustment though, and I am hoping that I can help make it work.

The great room switch of 2007 happened last weekend. Despite being made to feel like a total ass about the whole thing it went pretty well. I still have to paint, figure out shelving, and sort througha lot of things but the basic are in place. The layout is working pretty well so far. I just need to get that ex-purple table finished up and maybe get a swivel chair…yadda yadda.
I will get some pictures soon to post.

What on Earth possessed me to strip the paint off of the purple table before redoing it? Why? Why did this sounds like a good idea? I am up to my elbows in organ glop paint remover. And I think the pink laminate underneath is going to look too scratches so I’m going to have to repaint it anyways. I SHOULD have just painted over the purple but noooooo. I didn’t want to many paint layers on it. I thought that it should be stripped down first. Hopefully the problem is that I am using a metal spatula and not a real paint scraper. Going to try and pick one up this evening and have another go.
Ugh.
